The university I worked for organized a major academic event called ICHESD,
the International Conference on Higher Education and Sustainable Development. Designing
for this conference was both a fun and fulfilling experience, as it combined creativity with purpose.
As part of the PR and Marketing team at WBU, our preparations began two months before the conference.
While one of my colleagues developed the website, I was responsible for creating all the accompanying visuals,
ensuring the online presence felt cohesive and professional.
The website: ichesd.wbu.edu.al
Next, we focused on promotion. I designed a series of nine social media posters that highlighted different aspects
of the conference, including keynote speakers, deadlines, sponsors, and discussion topics. Each piece needed to stand
out individually but still work together as part of a unified visual identity.
As the event date drew closer, attention turned to the on-site materials. I designed the:
- Printed and Digital Visuals
- Event Agenda
- Roll-up Banners
- Participant Badges
- Directional Signage
- Screen Posters
These elements helped create a welcoming and organized atmosphere for attendees.
